Who we are
Hassen Design Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 11865440. Registered office: Office 53, The Wenta Business Centre, 1 Electric Avenue, Enfield, London EN3 7XU. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, project description and message you type into it. We do not ask for anything else, and the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking.
If you email, call or message us directly, we hold whatever you send in that message.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use your details for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. The lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have asked us a question and we need your details to answer it. If the enquiry becomes a job, we hold the same details to carry out the work and to meet our accounting obligations.
We do not send marketing, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
Who else sees it
The contact form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the message to our inbox on our behalf. Our email is hosted by our email provider. Both act as processors under our instructions. Where a provider handles data outside the UK, that transfer relies on the safeguards in their own terms.
We will also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within two years. Where the enquiry becomes a job, records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, which is the period HMRC requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it
- restrict or object to how we use it
Write to info@hassendesign.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
